The Tri-CitiesI love the Tri-Cities. No matter where I go in the world, I will always consider the Tri-Cities home. The whole area has so much history and memories that I'm excited to explore, remember, and share them with you. It doesn't matter what street I'm driving down, I can remember doing something fun, something dumb, and doing something that was fun and dumb. A lot of people complain that there's nothing to do here. I used to agree with that. That's why I moved to Seattle (and couldn't get out fast enough). However, during my visits back, I've been able to look at "home" a little differently. I will continue with this topic after I've taken some more time to gather my thoughts. Tri-Cities RestaurantsThere has been a lot of growth over the past few years. There have been a number of restaurants that have opened up like Bonefish, P. F. Chang's, Anthony's, and Sonic (doesn't count as a restaurant, but it's new). There are also the old favorites like Outback, R. F. McDougals, Kimo's, Tony Romas, and the Olive Garden. There are a number of restaurants in the Tri-Cities and there could stand to be a few more. The "fast food" scene in the Tri-Cities is what you would expect for any town across America. There are the usual fast food joints like McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, Arby's, Subway, etc. There are a few fast food places in the Tri-Cities that are note-worthy though. The first is Zips, the second is Burger Ranch, and the third is Taco Johns. The are home town favorites that have withstood the test of time. |
